I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the 5th district (Woodbury) Cannon County Commissioner seat. I would like to ask for your support and I hope that you find this information helpful when your cast your vote in the August election.

I am 49 years old and I am originally from Michigan. I moved here with my wife, Luann M. Hess-Brushaber (recently deceased), in the summer of 2002. I have four children that live in Ohio except for my middle child that is stationed in North Carolina with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Twelve years ago, mwife and I moved to Cannon County because we had family living here. When we first came to Cannon County we fell in love with the community and we feel in love with the Town of Woodbury. I have made Cannon County my home and that is why I am asking for your support in my bid for the County Commission seat of the 5th district.

I believe in volunteerism. Since my relocation to Cannon County, I have been an active member of the Cannon County Rescue Squad and the Short Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. I joined the volunteer departments shortly after my move here. I hold the office of Chief Financial Officer with the Rescue Squad and I am a volunteer firefighter with Short Mountain. I am also an active member of the Plainview Baptist Church where I am part of the van ministry. I am a former member of the Woodbury Lion's Club and I care deeply about the citizens of Woodbury and Cannon County.

I have worked for the Cannon County Sheriff's Department as a corrections officer and later as a transport officer. I currently work for the Amazon.com distribution center in Murfreesboro. I firmly believe that my work history, commitment to the community, and my love for being a volunteer fireman/rescue responder makes me a good candidate for this position.

I have made Cannon County my home and I am committed to the success of our community. I promise to listen to the citizens of Woodbury and Cannon County. I will make decisions based on facts that will benefit the citizens of the 5th district and the county as a whole. I am asking for your confidence, and I am asking for you to vote for me as your next County Commissioner of the 5th district.

Should you have questions about me or my candidacy, please feel free to contact me at 615.663.2150
Thanks in advance and God Bless.
