Jim Jones for 5th District Commissioner

This is to announce my candidacy for the office of Commissioner for the fifth district of Cannon County. Having been appointed to that position last October I have to admit the learning curve has been a little steep. I have, even so, tried to represent both the people of my district and their best interests as well. If elected I plan to continue in the pursuit of that goal.

I have been impressed and possibility a little intimated with some of the campaign ads I have seen and according to those this county has an opportunity to benefit greatly from a selection of talent and ability historically comparable only to when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.

Get out and vote The last thing a professional Politician wants is a high percentage of voter turnout. It wouldn't surprise me if they had nightmares about that. On that note and contrary to the message of at least one other candidate, I'm asking you to vote. If you can't vote for me then vote against me but GO VOTE.
