S.A.V.E. Fest provided a fun-filled day of music, games and activities at the Courthouse Square Saturday (Sept. 18).
People came and went throughout the day, enjoying the performances of 11 different bands along with the opportunity to win prizes through various contests.
In addition to the continues live performances, activities included an auction, a dunking booth, inflatable jumpers and a karaoke contest.
Cannon County S.A.V.E. is a not for profit agency geared toward stopping the spread of domestic violence and sexual violence in the community. It stands for Service and Violence Education, according to state documentation; however, the local agency prefers “Serving All Victims Equally.” It is the only domestic violence and sexual assault agency in Cannon County.
S.A.V.E. provides free services for all victims: women, children, men, and senior adults, and is guided by Director Lisa Baird. Learn more about S.A.V.E. at cannoncountysave.org.
The event continues until 10 tonight.
