MURFREESBORO – Patty Singleton of Woodbury is a winner in the Gift of Compassion contest. She will give her prize package to Sue Davenport st 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10 at the Lewis Bakeries Office (855 Scott Street) in Murfreesboro.
Healthy Life Bread’s Gift of Compassion Contest makes this gift possible. The contest is awarding 30 gift packages to consumers who in turn will give the packages to a person affected by breast cancer.
“This contest is designed to help our consumers lend a hand to someone in need,” explains Peggy Lewis, executive vice president of Lewis Bakeries. “We want to put the power in the hands of the consumer so they can decide who they want to help.”
The gift packs will include $350 in gift cards, a year’s supply of Healthy Life Bread ($100 value), and a Healthy Life gift pack ($100 value). The winners are encouraged to give their gift pack to someone they know that has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The gift cards can help buy food and household items, help with fuel costs for trips to treatments, and offer relaxation with a rejuvenating spa visit.
