If schools are closed games will likely be postponed. I believe that is school system policy.

In case of snow(which looks likely), games will be postponed. When there is no school, there also can't be any games. Thanks to the tremendous foresight of Karen King, President of the Principal Study Council, and fellow grammar school principals system wide, the schedule they put into place this year has created a one-week cushion where games could be postponed and tournaments still will be completed by February. Kudos to Principals Karen King (East Side), Robert Sain(West Side), Melinda Crook (Auburn), Kim Parsley (Woodland), Robert Pitts (Short Mountain) and Bonnie Patterson (Woodbury), as well as the Cannon County School Board, for adopting a new schedule that will create less havoc when games are postponed. Check CannonCourier.com and/or Cannon County's K12 now! system for updates on postponed games and best of luck to all the student-athletes and teams.
