Thirteen defendants entered guilty pleas to the charges against them in the Cannon County General Sessions Court of Judge Susan Melton for Tuesday, Feb. 15.
• Katilyn Danyelle Allen pled guilty to driving without a license. She was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $2 and court costs. Charges of no proof of insurance and speeding (61/45) were dismissed.
• Jacqueline Lynn Barrett pled guilty to theft under $500. She was given a six month suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was ordered to pay court costs.
• Thomas E. Baxter had charges of driving on revoked license and violation of the insurance law bound over to the May 2011 term of the grand jury.
• Larry Ricky Blair, Jr. pled guilty to a charge of possession of Schedule IV drugs. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $750. Charges of possession of Schedule III drugs and possession of Legend drugs were dismissed.
• Jeremy Frank Buse pled guilty to driving without a license. He was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $2 and court costs.
• Sheryl Christensen pled guilty to possession of Schedule III drugs. She was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $750 and ordered to pay court costs. In another case, Christensen pled guilty to violation of probation. She was sentenced to 60 days in the Cannon County Jail and placed on probation for 30 months, to run concurrent with the possession sentence. Charges of possession of Legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.
• Tansil Machell Howell, charged with driving on a suspended license, was dismissed.
• Elisha James Jenkins pled guilty to criminal impersonation. He was sentence to six months in the county jail and ordered to serve his entire sentence. In another case, Jenkins pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentence to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail and ordered to serve his entire sentence. He was also fined $150. Charges of misuse of registration, no seatbelt (2nd offense) and no proof of insurance were dismissed.
• Dakota Trey Jones entered a conditional plea of guilty to possession of Schedule III drugs, subject to good and lawful behavior. He was fined $750 and placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days. He was ordered to maintain employment, submit to random drug screens, and obtain a valid driver's license. Charges of driving on a suspended license and violation of the insurance law were dismissed.
• Christopher Lane Lance pled guilty to speeding (71/45). He was fined $2 and court costs. Charges of driving on a revoked license and violation of the insurance law were dismissed.
• Anthony Paul Lecuyer pled guilty to a charges of failure to give notice of an accident. He was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $2 and court costs and order to pay restitution and submit to random drug screens.
• Laura Luers had violation of probation charges dismissed.
• Angela Jennifer Markum pled guilty to DUI (1st offense). She was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was ordered to serve 48 hours in the county jail, fined $350 and had her driver's license revoked for one year.
• Keianna J. Maxwell had a simple possession of marijuana charge continued for six months subject to good and lawful behavior. She was ordered not to associate with anyone using drugs. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed,
• Ashley Dawn Meeks had charges of promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and possession of Schedule VI drugs set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• Amy Elizabeth Miller, charged with domestic assault, was dismissed.
• Sharon E. (Sherry) Morton, charged with theft over $10,000, had her case bound over to the May term of the grand jury.
• Thomas Avent Muncy pled guilty to simple possession of marijuana. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $250 and court costs., A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
• Charles Samuel Patterson had charges of aggravated burglary set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• Nickie K. Patterson had charges of aggravated burglary set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• Jeremy Pitts had charges of aggravated burglary set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• Melvin Leonard Shrum had a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident dismissed.
• Randall Clark Smotherman, charged with DUI (2nd offense), revoked license, implied consent law, failed to appear.
• Rachel Marie Srour pled guilty to driving without a license. She was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $2 and court costs.
• Jeremy Lynn Tenpenny had charges of reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest, suspended license (2 counts) and violation of probation (3rd offense, 2 counts, 2nd offense) set for a preliminary hearing on March 29.
• Marcus Edward Tenpenny had charges of reckless driving, felony evading arrest, no driver’s license (2 counts), driver’s license and registration and financial responsibility violations set for a preliminary hearing on March 29.
• Cynthia Denise Thomas, charged with theft under $500 and suspended license, had her case set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• Billy Ray Tidwell had charges of aggravated burglary set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.
• John David Wallace Jr. entered a condition plea of guilty to a charge of carrying a weapon to go armed and assault, subject to good and lawful behavior. He was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days.
