6 arrested in meth raids

Cannon County Sheriff's Department arrested six individuals following recent raids on two meth houses on Hollow Springs Road.

In the first raid, products used to make methamphetamine were discovered following the execution of a search warrant. In the second, 13 one-pot meth labs were discovered, said sheriff’s Investigator Anthony Young.

Five were charged during the first raid at 1521 Hollow Springs Road. Ricky Christopher Cooper, Callie Marie Combs, Katlyn Fann, Jeremy Hinkle and Gregory Austin Smith were taken into custody.

Combs, Fann, Hinkle and Smith were all charged with promotion of meth.

"Ricky Christopher Cooper came out of the house and ran. He was later apprehended," Young said.

Cooper faces promotion of meth, evading arrest, possession of Schedule II drugs and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of manufacturing meth charges.

Young said the first raid led to the second at 7641 Hollow Springs Road.

"Thirteen one-pot meth labs were discovered there, along with several components used in manufacturing meth," Young said.

Arrested at the second address was Kevin Blake Gannon, who was charged with manufacturing meth, maintaining a dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule II drug (meth).

Assisting in the raids and arrests were Investigator Brandon Gullett, Sheriff Darrell Young, Deputy Jordan McGee, Deputy Roger Young and Deputy Tommy Miller.
