A Woodbury man faces multiple charges following a car accident on Sept. 8.
According to the report of Cannon County Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Barker, he was dispatched to the 750 block of Parchorn Hollow Rd on Sept. 8 in reference to a single vehicle accident.
"Dispatch had advised me prior to my arrival that the complainant did advise the driver was extremely intoxicated but still on the scene. Upon my arrival I saw a man later identified as Shane Logan stumbling around near the vehicle that had wrecked," Barker's report states.
"I approached Mr. Logan and he stated that he did not turn enough to make it across the bridge. Mr. Logan had a strong odor of what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage coming from his person, his speech was extremely slurred and he was very unstable on his feet.
"I did not give Mr. Logan a field sobriety test in fear that he would harm his self or me while trying to perform the SFST task. I then placed Mr. Logan under arrest and in the rear of my patrol vehicle."
Barker also took statements from three witnesses at the scene. He also reported that Logan refused to sign a Notice of Property Seizure while he was being booked.
Logan, of 426 Fair Oak Lane, Woodbury, was cited for DUI, driving on a revoked license, violation of the implied consent law and failure to provide proof of insurance.
Bond was set at $10,000. His initial court date is Oct. 5.
