Cannon County Director of Schools William Freddy Curtis remains hospitalized after he suffered a heart attack Tuesday night.
The attack happened after a recessed short school board meeting which was a routine meeting to close out the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
Curtis underwent heart bypass surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
