Betty E. Gilley, 93, of Woodbury died March 25, 2010. She was born June 4, 1916 in Coffee County, TN. Her parents were the late Will French and Lydia "Liddie" (Earls) French.

ATLANTA - Middle Tennessee's Alysha Clark added another postseason honor to her resume Thursday as she was selected as one of 40 finalists for the State Farm/WBCA All-America Team it was announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

MURFREESBORO - Middle Tennessee picked up its third national football broadcast of the 2010 season when it was confirmed by ESPN that the network would carry the Thursday night Middle Tennessee-Minnesota game on ESPNU. The Sept. 2 season-opening contest will kickoff at 6:30 PM central.
