A typing error led to a mistake in an open letter to citizens of the 1st District of Cannon County from Commissioner Russell Reed.

The letter should have said:

"My votes were not always with the majority of the commission, but they were always in the best interest, in my opinion for my district and the county as a whole."

The Cannon Courier regrets and apologizes for the error.
