Jim and Darnelle Brown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with over 125 friends and family on Sunday afternoon July 7th at the West Main Baptist Church in Alexandria. Married on July 4th 1969, they met through Darnelle's cousin, Diane Gaddes. After courting 1 ½ years, they were married at Auburn Baptist Church by Brother Cannie Leonard. The reception was given by their twin children Jason Brown and Jeanna Caplinger along with their four grandchildren, Carly and Ben Brown and Kayna and Kayley Caplinger. The Browns feel very blessed and consider family and friends treasures from God. They reside in Liberty, TN. (Photo by Donna Nichols)
