Red Apple Days has been cancelled. Officials posted on their Facebook social media page Wednesday night calling off the event. "Our first priority is the health and well being of our community and based on the current restrictions from teh state on festivals we have decidied it is in the best interest of everyone involved to forgo a traditional festival this year." officials wrote.
The annual festival which takes place the first Friday and Saturday in August is now a main fundraiser for the Auburntown Volunteer Fire Department.
