The Cannon County Lions High School Football team officially grabbed their first region and regular season win as their homecoming opponent Friday night has had to forfeit due to COVID-19 conditions.
The Lions will still take the field Friday night however as they have scheduled White County as Friday night's game.
White County who has an off week this week was scheduled to be the opening game at home against Cannon but had to cancel because of COVID as well.
Game time will be at 7:00.
