James Albert Willis passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. He was a native of Rutherford County, Tennessee.
Survivors include his wife at 38 years, Carolyn (Reed), his two sons, John and James (Ashlee); two grandchildren, A.J. and Maggie, sisters Faye Harris, Edna Jacobs, Elizabeth (Tommy) McCormick, Cindy (Bill) Cooper, brother Eddie (Pam) Willis, niece Amy (Adam) Rowland and great niece Ella Rowland, nephews Matt (Kate) McCormick, Scott Willis, Jonas (Destiny) Cooper and Tim Cooper and his mother-in-law Nila Reed.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Alfred and Ella Mae (Spray) Willis and his brother-in-law, Cecil Harris.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00am, Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the chapel of Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home with Brother Allen Brown and Brother Jimmy Jernigan officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
