Debra Jean Stone

Debra Jean Stone, 58, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at her home. She was born in Paris, IL.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Glenn Stone of Woodbury; 3 sons, Corey (Heather) Matheny and Chris (Maggie) Stone all of Woodbury and Justin (Liz) Stone Readyville; grandchildren, Tyler, Shianne and Preston Matheny, Hunter, Tucker and Gunter Stone, Callie and Bryson Stone; sisters, Patty (Robert) Singleton and Karen Matheny; brothers-In-Law, Jerry (Lisa) Stone and Perry (Sue) Stone both of Woodbury; sister-In-Law, Rita (Raymond) Barlow of Woodbury.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Matheny and Shirley Armstrong Barrett; her brother, Donald Greenwood and her step father, Don Greenwood.

Debra was a member of the church of Christ and a homemaker. She was previously the manager at The Cookie Store. Debra was a fighter when it came to her health, she was a protector of her husband and children with whom she loved endlessly. She enjoyed doing crafts, loved her pets and she also loved listening to the music of Neal McCoy. Debra will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday, January 28, 2022 at Thyatira cemetery with Bro. Donald Johnson officiating. Visitation with her family will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
