Glad to hear Terry Whited is home and doing better following back surgery that was supposed to be an "in-and-out-the-same-day" procedure but turned into several days due to complications. Wife/nurse, Debbie, is taking good care of him.

Terry (and Debbie) came home Sunday and Monday her mom was rushed to St Thomas, Nashville, where she underwent a successful heart ablation procedure without complications.

It was a Bridal Tea Sunday afternoon for Carli Summar, bride-elect of Jason Reed. The event took place at Auburn Baptist Church.

During the morning service, Auburn held a baptismal service with Deborah Kirkham the candidate.

All of our family was at Dillon Street Baptist for their morning service to witness the baptism of our grandson, Rylon Morrison.

Then it was back to our house for the March birthdays. Janna Womack and Kyle Patrick were the honorees. Janna's dessert consisted of her two favorites - Oreo cookie dough red velvet blondie layer cake while Kyle's favorite was put into ice cream which was Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

Lots of baskets full of Easter eggs got boarded the morning school bus and were still full when getting off at the afternoon route but with different eggs and even some stuffed bunnies in the mix. Don't know how they hunted as none were wet from rain!

Jessie Tucker-Baugh begins our birthday list this week on the 30th.. Then it's April Fool's Day and a special birthday for our granddaughter, Alayna Reed when she hits the 18th year. Roy Nelson Pugh gets to celebrate on the 2nd. The 4th is set aside for Dean Nichols. Winding up the week's worth of wishes are Eddie Nichols (his 72nd) and our grandson, Dustin Patrick (his 26th). Happy, happy birthday you all!

Hope all students, faculty and school employees have a safe and happy Spring break.
