It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Decorations are seen all around. Our Griswold relative (a.k.a Tim Reed) has lit up the sky with his décor and the bells are blinking around town.
Ashley Hayes, Chicago, IL, was home with parents, Linda and Phillp Hayes, over the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Congratulations to the Lady Knights and Knights on advancing in the Cancer Tournament being held this week at Woodbury Grammar.
Auburn Baptist Church enjoyed the Angelic Children's Church choir performed Sunday the 17th by 7 of their "angels".
The Women Prayer Cross Ministry of Prosperity Baptist Church met Wednesday night for their annual Christmas retreat. There were 36 young and "mature" ladies enjoying the delicious food provided by Sundance Restaurant in Smithville. Sixteen crosses were prayed over and passed out followed by the exchange of Christmas ornaments.
It's been a busy doctor's appointments for our house this week so news is short.
Celebrating birthdays this week are Tom Allen who was born 92 years ago on the 11th. Mahalie Mullinax celebrates her Sweet Sixteenth the same day. The 12th Jackie Hays and Jillian Brooke Hughes enjoy their special day. Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some but not for Matt Gaither and Stephen Joyce who have birthdays. Lillie Willard's is the 14th. John Dodd, Cassie Leyhew and Ryan Baines all get their cake and ice cream on the 16th. Mike Bryson hits the double nickel year on the 17th with Dallas Joyce entering his 20's. Matthew Swift celebrates the same day. Happy birthday you all.
Anniversaries celebrations for the week belong to David and Trisha Dunn on the 14th, Thomas Brown and Jane Mullinax on the 15th and Charles and Janie Witty on the 17th. Happy anniversary.
