Winfred Gaither was back in the hospital over the weekend but is out now.

Saturday P-pa and I attended our very first Cross County Competition held at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna. It was a perfect day to do some running and we're so proud of our CCHS boys and girls who did. Congratulations to all. If you got last week's edition of the "Courier", you read about the good results.
That afternoon P-pa and I were in Manchester where we met Herbert Goines and his wife, Elaine, at Cracker Barrel. He was the "Best Man" at our wedding some 50 years ago and it was good to do a lot of catching up.
The Lion's Club Building was full of Brysons Sunday the 28th. There were 55 who enjoyed all that good food and good fun.
Wednesday "Miss" Sunshine's 4th grade enjoyed a field trip to the Oaklands Museum. They saw how some of our ancestor's lived by making what they needed. No Walmarts around!
