Hurry and get well wishes to Dan Kennedy who underwent some extensive surgery at Vanderbilt. The surgery was due to a fall from a ladder which resulted in several broken bones in his leg.
Sunday was a "family baby shower" for Shiloh Marie Patrick who is due to make her entrance any time. Mom, Shannon, was on hand to check out the gifts she received. The event was held at "Auntie DD's" (DeAnna Reed).
Robbie Owen, Betty Thomas, Ruth Davenport honored Wilma Harris Monday with a birthday lunch at Cheddar's in Murfreesboro. This was followed by a shopping spree.
Congratulations to John Buryl Neely on being a buckle winner at the recent Heart of Tennessee Junior Meat Goat Classic which was held at the Tennessee Livestock Center at MTSU, Murfreesboro.
Douglas Gaither of Aurora, CO is visiting for several days. Sara Drue Zimmer of Syracuse, NY arrived Thursday to visit for a while.
Thursday, Donna and Eddie Nichols traveled to Lebanon where they visited with his mom, Mattie Drue Nichols.
The Auburntown Historical Society meets this Thursday, the 16th at 6:30 p.m. This is a potluck meal at the Auburntown Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Harris Hooper's son, Rob, is to share the history of the Battle of Milton on Vaught Hill. This is rescheduled from the June meeting with Harris Hooper. Everyone is invited to attend. Bring a "potluck" dish and join us for a historical trip down the past.
Happy belated birthday to Robert Fletcher who celebrated Sunday the 12th and happy anniversary to him and Tina who celebrate their 19th year together today (Tuesday the 14th).
Alanna Vaught hits her 40th year on the 16th. Johnny Dorris and Zach Sheerer celebrate the 17th. The 18th is the day for Rabon Brandon. On the 20th Joanie Blackburn turns another year older. The 21st sees Clay Shirley, J.T. Brown and Andy Higgins all celebrating and this ends his week's list. Happy birthday to all of you.
Happy anniversary to Dan and Sarah Turney Wilkerson on their 12th year the 18th.
