Betty Jane Gandy Beene

Betty Jane Gandy Beene, 93 passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 following a short illness.  A native of Cannon Co., TN she resided in Memphis. Her parents were the late George Gandy and Bernice Moore Gandy and her husband was the late John L. Beene.

 

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Monday from 6 till 8 pm.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Beene (Thomas) Hares of Memphis and 2 grandchildren, John T. Brown & Janet M. Jones both of Memphis.  Also surviving are 2 great grandchildren. 

 

A member of the Bellevue Baptist Church, she was a homemaker.
