Building Commnity Resource Class Announced August 18

Please join us for the Cannon County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition's BCRS class on Tuesday, August 18th at 6pm at the Woodbury Lions Club Building. This week's program will be Hidden In Plain Sight presented by Karen Pittman founder of HAVE (Helping Addiction Vanish Everywhere). Hidden In Plain Sight is an educational experience that walks you through a typical teenage bedroom. After participating participants will know: When and how parents should start talking to their children about drugs; Key times youth are at risk for substance abuse issues; Risk factors of youth substance abuse; Common ways and places drugs are hidden and paraphernalia used in the processing and use of illicit drugs. If you are a parent/guardian or educator this program was created for you. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted. Make plans to attend this presentation on August 18th at 6pm located at the Woodbury Lions Club Building, 634 Lehman St. Woodbury, TN 37190.
