The Cannon County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition will meet today at the Woodbury Lions Club Building. The meeting is open to the public and anyone can join the organization at no cost.
The Coalition has received a couple of grants and are moving forward with a grant opportunity on a grant with MTSU and the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program.
The new Executive Director, Kelsie Smith will talk about a couple of community events the Coalition will have a presence at.
Savannah Lanpher CPRS Clinical Consultant at Journey Pure is the guest speaker.
The meeting starts today at 11:00 and will be aired live on Cannon Courier News and Events Facebook page.
