Would you like fresh fruits and vegetables? Then visit the Cannon County Farmer's Market in Woodbury, TN beside the Cannon County Arts Center from 7am-12pm on Saturdays.
All of the products you buy come directly from the grower or producer. There are no resellers, no middle men, and nothing but fresh locally grown products. Like at a traditional farmers' market, these growers describe their own products, set their own prices, and are selling directly to you. Get to know the people who grow or make your food. Every farm and food production operation is different.
Just some of the many items you can pick up at the Cannon County Farmer's Market include: tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, okra, beans, peppers, broccoli, corn, potatoes, cabbage, turnip greens, onions, cantaloupe, watermelon, blueberries, canned jellies and jams, canned pickles, fried pies and even carpenter bee catchers. Currently there are 11 vendors (Ray Shipp, Irene Hollis, Sheryl Howell, Joe Patterson, Scott and Allen Pack, Thomas Bivens, Roy Parsley, Linda Sadler, Harold Duggin, Harold Underwood, Jonathon and Charles Powell).
If you would like to become a vendor then stop by the UT Extension Office or call 615-563-2554. We hope to see you at the Cannon County Farmer's Market on Saturday but hurry because items sell out fast!
