Cannon Schools Announces School Level Teachers Of The Year

Cannon County Schools take pleasure in honoring the school-level teachers of the year for the 2019-2020 School Year. Each teacher was selected to represent their respective school in three categories: PreK-4^th Grade; 5^th Grade - 8^thGrade; 9^th Grade - 12^th Grade. One Teacher in each category will be selected by a committee to represent Cannon County as the District Teacher of the Year in the Upper Cumberland CORE Region and will be announced during the Week of February 10^th, 2020. The following teachers were selected to represent their individual schools:

Auburn School:

PreK - 4^th: Leslie Pursell

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Emily Crook

East Side School:

PreK - 4^th: Jordan Anderson

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Brad Underwood

Short Mountain School:

PreK - 4^th: Mary McMurry

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Candice Lewis

West Side School:

PreK - 4^th: Kathy Gannon

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Melissa Anderson

Woodbury Grammar School:

PreK - 4^th: Rhonda Odom

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Jeff Todd

Woodland School:

PreK - 4^th: Julie Hackney

5^th Grade - 8^thGrade: Carla Parker

Cannon County High School:

9^th Grade - 12^thGrade: Annie Reed
