Cannon Sports Results and Schedule 8-27

Cannon County Lionettes got their first volleyball win of the season in a 3-0 best of five victory over the DeKalb County Lady Tigers. Cannon won easily in the first two sets 25-9, 25-15 and battled out a 25-18 third set to sweep.

A girls soccer showdown is on tap for tonight as the Smith County Lady Owls and the Cannon County Lionettes face off at Fred Schwartz Field. Both teams have started out undefeated. Kickoff tonight is at 6p.

The Lionettes volleyball team jumps back into District play as they travel to Chapel Hill to meet Forrest tonight. Junior Varsity starts at 5p with the Varsity at 6.

Cannon County Middle School Volleyball is in Murfreesboro this evening with a set of matches against Whitworth Buchanan. Junior Varsity at 5 with Varsity at 6.

Cedar Crest Golf Course is the place to be for Cannon County High School Golf today. The Lions and Lionettes meet Westmoreland and Gordonsville on the links. Tee time is 3:30
