Cannon County High School will host its first financial aid night of the 2010-22 school year Thursday (Oct. 14) from 6-to-8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. While much of the meeting will be geared toward seniors and their parents, freshmen, sophomores, juniors and their parents are also invited.
Joe Myers, Director of Financial Aid at Motlow College, and Melissa Weatherford, Motlow College’s Scholarship/Work Study Coordinator, will discuss financial aid issues connected to Motlow College. Bonnie McCarty, Assistant Director of Scholarships at MTSU, will also be on hand to discuss scholarships and other forms of financial aid at MTSU.
Eric Farmer of the Tennessee Student Assistance Corp. (Hope/Lottery Scholarship) will discuss financial aid and the importance of timely filing of the FAFSA and issues surrounding the Lottery Scholarship.
