Cannon County High School Outdoor Club paddled to Fancher Falls on Center Hill over spring break.

Fancher Falls is a beautiful 70' waterfall that flows into Center Hill 2 miles upstream from Cookeville boat dock.

Paddlers battled 25 mile per hour winds on the return paddle but performed admirably on a beautiful March day.

Paddlers included Emily Faulkner, Jamie Barber, Charles Steeleman, James Young, Justin Prater, Brandon Ferrell, Ronnie Burks, Doug King and Marc Larson.

This is one of the most admirable, common sense groups I've heard of in high schools today.
Plus, Fancher Falls is one of the most beautiful, least (by land) accessible Natural Wonders of Tennessee....
