Randy "Fudd" Melton passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the age of 71. He was born on June 7 1952 to the late Charles Edward and Sibyl Blanks Melton of Woodbury, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Sibyl Blanks Melton; Sister Renee Melton Lewis.
He is survived by his two daughters, Bridget (Grant) Holt of Woodbury, TN and Chanda (Gary) Willis of Goodlettsville, TN; three grandchildren, Amber (Thomas) Burnett, Ashley (Dustin) Patrick and Anaston Holt, three great grandchildren Dre and Ace Patrick and Austyn Burnett. He is also survived by many cousins and a nephew, Chase Lewis.
He is also survived by his wife, Karen Melton and her children Crystal Lloyd and Brittany Basham and grandchildren McKenzie Mason, Zachary Basham, Garrett Basham, Noah Maddox, and Landry Mason.
Randy had a 36-year long career at Nissan North American from January 10, 1983-June 5,2019 retiring as Senior Engineer of Manufacturing in Tool and Die. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had a great love for the outdoors. When not working or traveling for work, he enjoyed riding horses, dove and quail hunting, fishing, and training his bird dogs.
He was a native and resident of Cannon County Tennessee for 69 years until recently moving to Scottsboro/Guntersville Alabama where he spent his final years fishing and enjoying his retirement.
