By the end of the day....the Country Christmas Bazaar on this past Saturday Oct. 10 had counted over 500 visitors from near and far who attended The Short Mountain's Trading Post biggest event of the year.
With an excellent overflow of vendors and all those who made the journey to purchase their holiday items and enjoy the free lunch, we had a great time said business owner, Savannah Cunnick. The fellowship and constant laughter filled the air and busy shoppers went from tent to tent ouside and from booth to booth inside the barn.
Savannah's Loft drew a lot of attention with it's perpetual Christmas room and various themed rooms throughout the upstairs. Many unique items were purchased throughout the Midway. Later in the day, we had the Hiking Club pay us a visit and then a group of cruising motorcyclists.
Somehow they packed even the most awkward purchases on those bikes. Convertibles were fitted with rocking chairs and huge Christmas wreaths popping out of the back seats and pick ups leaving with holiday trees and woodworks tied down were a common sight.
A Big Shout-Out to all our vendors who helped make our event a success: Jim Everett, Frank and Pat Matthews, April and Sarah, Sharon George and Amy, Patricia Dismore and Terry Murphy, Shirley Leiting and Hubby, Regina Harvey and Betty, Lillian Bynum, Barbara and Steve Curry, Cheryl DeWitt, Lisa Wisdom, Tina - Jerry and Donna of the Krafty Kitten, Jai Sheronda, Ruby Young and Annie Turner. Many thanks to Chef JD for preparing such a great lunch.
Thanks again for all our visitors who made it all worthwhile! Great fellowship and laughter rounded out one fine day of shopping and welcoming the fall season by all !!
