Cross country impresses at Webb

BELL BUCKLE - Cannon County’s boys won the Webb Invitational and the girls finished second as the squads continued to prove their mettle against some of the midstate’s top runners.

Elva Magana finished second overall and Macy Clements was 10th for the Lionettes and medaled.
Marshall McReynolds, who had been sidelined all season with chin splints, made a strong return. McReynolds finished sixth and medaled. Jake Burdick finished 12th and Devan Burgess was 14th for the Lions. Sarah Hickman had one of her best races of the season and finished 14th.

 TJ Paul, Umar Rasul, Dakota Grandstaff, Jacob Barnes, John House and Jessica Elmy had personal bests.
