Donald W. Conn was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 3, 1949, and went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2025.
He was the son of Clarence Conn and Ruby Murphy Conn. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Elizabeth Ervin and Evelyn Sackellares; and his brother, Chester Conn.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Reed Conn; his sisters, Georgia Smith and Sue Moyle; and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was greatly loved by his wife, family, and friends.
H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs, Georgia is in charge of arrangements. The funeral in Georgia will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 2:00 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel.
The Tennessee service arrangements are as follows. Visitation will be on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2-3 pm at Gentry-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday February 17, 2025, at 3 pm in the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Garden.
