On Friday, April 30, Mrs. Greta Reed’s annual 4th grade “Pet Day” was held at East Side.
Several pets showed up for the occasion including: two painted turtles (no names), a rabbit (Strickland), a squirrel (Rocky), a Chihuahua (Tia), a gerbil (Digger), a basset hound (Sam), a Yorkiepoodle (Hidey), a guinea pig (Cinnamon), and Dr. Gayle Tate brought his Golden Retreiver, Casey.
Dr. Tate shared a lot of helpful information about being responsible for a pet including spaying, neutering, and keeping rabies shots up-to-date.
The 4th graders would like to thank Dr. Tate for being our special guest. Also, thanks to parents who brought pets to school.
