New Jersey, you say? Yes, indeed! On September 27th, East Side’s 6th, 7th and 8th grade students were privileged to “VIRTUALLY” visit the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey through the use of our new distance learning equipment.

The “Forensic Science” virtual trip allowed the students to interact with science experts through the use of a large plasma TV, camera, and in internet connection.

The students participated in several hands-on analysis activities such as crime-scene handwriting, fingerprinting, and DNA investigation.

We plan to take other exciting adventures to faraway places very soon!
