Eva "Tootsie" Frances Hutchins Davenport passed away Friday, August 30, 20024 at St Thomas Stones River. She was 95. The daughter of the late Joe D. and Dolly Brazzell Hutchins O'Dell, Eva was born in Cannon Co.
She is survived by her children Mark (Becky) Davenport of Lebanon, Roger (Sharon) Davenport of Mt. Juliet, Frances Davenport of Murfreesboro, and sister Jean Bioko of Woodbury; grandchildren, Bobby Davenport Jr., Nicole Ford, Erica Mentzer, Staci Williams, Shannon Wright, Diana Golden, Jeremiah Woehler, and Matthew Pridemore several great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward (Ed) Davenport; son Bobby Jerome Davenport, brothers Dick and Monte Joe Hutchins.
A member of the New Hope Church of Christ, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, singing and cooking but most of all she loved being with her family.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M- 1:00 P.M. Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Woodbury Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M with Bro. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bobby Davenport, Colton Davenport, Blake Williams, Ethan Wright, Evan Wright, and Brayden Mentzer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reed Cemetery.
