The Confederate Army of Tennessee occupied Murfreesboro for more than two months prior to the Battle of Stones River. On October 16-17, 2010, volunteers will give visitors to Stones River National Battlefield a glimpse of what life was like for those soldiers as the seasons passed and battle approached.
