C.C.W.H.A. would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the Halloween Ride coming up. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 26th. The ride leaves the campground at 11:0 a.m. Bring the family and enjoy one last camping weekend of the season. The campground will be open and everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a member to enjoy this ride. Admission is $10.00 per person with children under 5 years old free. A meal of chili, hotdogs and a dessert are included in the admission price on Saturday after the ride. A Halloween costume contest will be held after the meal and Trick or Treat for the kids will follow. If you are camping, bring treats for the little spooks.
C.C.W.H.A. would also like to take the opportunity to remind everyone about the History Book of the Rideathon and the origination of the Cannon County Walking Horse Association. If you are interested in having a page in the book, please contact any of the C.C.W.H.A. Board of Directors or History Book Committee Members. The deadline is soon approaching. Don’t get left out of this wonderful project.
For more information on the ride or the history book, you can log onto the C.C.W.H.A. website at www.ccwhaoftn.info.
