Final Regular Season Game On Facebook Live Tonight

The Cannon County Lions and Lionettes head to Livingston for their final regular season basketball game as postseason starts next week. The Lionettes will be the 8th seed and will have to play on the road in Watertown but tonight they are playing to be the spoiler and an upset win over the Lady Wildcats could put the Overton County team in the fourth seed pending on how York and Macon County does.
The Cannon County Lions position is still up for grabs. Either win or lose the Lions will have a first round home game next week. If the Lions can win this evening against Livingston coupled by a Dekalb County loss to Smith, Cannon County will be the fifth seed and will host winless Macon County. A loss by both Dekalb and Cannon will result in a coin toss at the District-8AA coaches meeting Friday morning.
The game tonight phone/wifi signal permitting will be broadcast live through Cannon Courier News and Events Facebook page with stream beginning at 5:55. Tipoff is at 6p.
