Truck Stolen, Sold for Scrap

Warrants have been issued in connection with the theft of a 1978 GMC flatbed truck, which was sold for scrap at Ivy Bluff Auto Salvage. The missing truck was sold for $134.

Stolen Baler

A yellow Veimer 5420 round baler and monitor were reported stolen from a farm in Auburntown near Sanders Fork church. The baler is valued at $19,000.

Domestic Assault

Victor Lamar Smith, 38, of Iconium Road was charged with domestic assault following an incident. A hearing for Smith is set for November 11 in General Sessions Court.

Stolen Vehicle

Deputies investigated a 1997 Nissan Altima that was reported stolen from an address on Howard Youree Road. The Altima was gold in color with a missing grill with a chain holding the hood closed. The vehicle also had body damger on the driver's side rear quarter panel.

Bobby Joe Wilson was charged with aggravated burglary, assault with a weapon under the influence, aggravated assault and carrying a weapon (a Jennings 9mm pistol) by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for November 8 in General Sessions Court.
