The annual FFA plant sale and ham breakfast on April 24 was a huge success, according to Agriculture Instructor Courtney Nichols.
The breakfast grossed over $2,000. The money, after expenses, will be used for scholarships for graduating seniors.
Everything from tomatoes to hanging baskets went fast, according to Nichols.
The Woodbury FFA produced over 500 hanging baskets and 100 flats that showcased the student’s hard work.
The Woodbury FFA is having a Mother’s Day special this week. Several varieties are still available for sale. Hanging baskets are $10, flats are $10, and 3” cups $2 and 4 packs of vegetables are $1. The greenhouse is open between 8 am and 3 p.m. For more information, please contact 563-4875.
