ASCENSION SAINT THOMAS TO HOST FREE HEALTHCARE CLINIC SATURDAY IN WARREN COUNTY

What:

Ascension Saint Thomas invites residents of Warren County and all surrounding areas to our Medical Mission at Home on Saturday, June 22. Free medical, dental, and vision care will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone will be warmly welcomed, and interpreters will be in attendance for our Spanish-speaking guests.

Why:

The Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Mission at Home is a partnership with community organizations to provide free medical services, dental services, mammograms, vision services, foot and wound care, lab services, and behavioral medicine.

Developed by the Ascension Health Leadership Formation program as a ministry to the uninsured and underinsured, Medical Missions at Home events have served more than 20,000 Tennesseans since 2008. At last year's Warren County Medical Missions at Home, more 350 participants received free care.

Who:

Event volunteers include over 300 members of the Ascension Saint Thomas Health community, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, chaplains, senior leaders, and hospital staff. Community volunteers will also be present. The following organizations are graciously partnering with Ascension to ensure the event's success:

  • Second Harvest Food Bank SNAP enrollment
  • Soles4Souls
  • Susan G. Komen
  • TouchPoint
  • Turner Construction
