Opening February 4th the Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery will host the artwork of Tennessee Tech students who are getting ready to receive their license to teach. These TTU students are currently doing student teaching as the final step toward completing their license requirements. The training they have received so far has included a diverse sample of the different art making processes and styles.
Some of the processes included in their training are painting, drawing, print making, photography, wheel throwing pottery, fibers, metal, glass, and woodworking. The works submitted will have been created as they worked through their curriculum and may include one or more of these mediums.
Come and support our future teachers at their Public Reception on Feb 4th, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Many of their art pieces will also be for sale.
The exhibit will run from February 4thto February 25th.
