Glen Macon Coppinger, 85, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home. He was a native of Warren Co. but lived in Woodbury.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth Adean Phillips Coppinger of Woodbury; Children, Phill (Jennifer) Coppinger and Glena (Russell) Vance both of Woodbury, Gary & Tracy Coppinger of McMinnville and Joyce Travis of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren, Joshua Travis, Kelsey (Steven) Murphree, Samantha, Bradley, Paige & Jackson Coppinger; Siblings, Jimmy (Violet) Coppinger, Lola Todd, Jewelene (Earl) Cooper and Anna Coppinger all of Woodbury and Lane Coppinger of McMinnville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Noah & Callie Victory Griffith Coppinger and brother, Livy Coppinger. Mr. Coppinger was a member of the Smith Grove Church of Christ, a veteran of the Army where he served in Korean and he was a farmer.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, January 12, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Summers officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 pm until 9 pm Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 and until time of service Thursday, January 12, 2017.
