Glenda Faye King Vandergrift

Glenda Faye King Vandygrift, age 72, passed away May 14, 2021 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro. She was a native of Cannon County and the daughter of the late Jim Grady King and Glenette Vance King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Vandygrift and her brother, Wayne "Byrd" King.

Survivors include her 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Christa and Kenny Campbell and Jami and Shane Ervin all of Murfreesboro; 5 grandchildren: Trey and Abby Campbell and Lee, Cole and Grant Ervin; 2 brothers and sister-in law: Randy and Tyanne King and Stanton King of Auburntown; sister-in-law, Millie Mingle of Woodbury. Also suriving are several nieced and nephews.

Glenda was a member of Auburntown Baptist Church and retired from MTSU as a graduate analyst. She loved making memories with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday May 18, 2021 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Carver officiating. Internment will follow at Prosperity Cemetery.
