Hershel William Trail, 92, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at his home in Bradyville. He was a native of Coffee Co., Tn.

He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte (Doyle) Duke and Cathy (Jack) Hyatt all of Bradyville, Lisa Trail (Tim Tipps) of Murfreesboro;Daughters-in-law, Betty Trail Curless of Bradyville and Sandra Trail of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren: Scott Duke, Tracy Duke, Kendria Smithson Duke, Kevin (Jackie) Trail, Kelly Trail, Matthew (Beth) Trail, Elizabeth (Justin) Emslee, Will Hyatt & Leah Hyatt, Laurel Tipps & Craig Tipps; Great Grandchildren: Konner & Kolby Duke, Brett & Britta Trail, Makenzie & Jerri Trail, Kendell King, Alexander Emslee and Lilly Tipps; Great Great Grandson: Logan Trail; Siblings: Howard Trail, Ruth (Dale) Sain, Alta (Delos) Crosslin, Fred Trail, Vergil (Joyce) Trail, Mary Lee (Leon) Messick all of Coffee Co. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Brandon Trail & Pearl Floyd Trail, his loving wife Laura Belle Spry Trail to whom he was married to for 72 years; his sons, Jerry W. Trail and Larry G. Trail; his siblings, Edna Davis, Hazel Davis, Russell Trail and Kenneth Trail.

Mr. Trail and his beloved wife, Laura, started from scratch where they built their home and family. He was a true friend and neighbor to so many people. He was dependable and loving to his children, grandchildren and anyone who knew him as "Pa Trail." Mr. Trail was a Dairy and Beef Farmer and member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Wed., July 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. and Bro. John Payneofficiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Larry Trail Schlorship Fund In Memory of Jerry & Larry Trail.
