Irene Puckett Butcher

Services for Irene Puckett Butcher, 82, of Bradyville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Gunter officiating. Burial will follow in Wards Grove Cemetery.

 Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

 Mrs. Butcher was a native of Bedford County, a member of Bradyville Church of Christ and a housewife. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

 She is survived by three children, Richard Irvin (Molly Sue) Butcher of Readyville, Wanda Carol Bobbitt of Murfreesboro and Samuel Harrison (Gwen) Butcher Jr. of Bradyville; a sister, Freeland Williams of Midland Community, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Puckett and Ovie Turner Puckett and her husband, Samuel Harrison Butcher Sr.
