James Allen Knox

James Allen Knox, age 83, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at St. Thomas West. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sue Barrett Knox of Woodbury; Sons, Larry James (Becky) Knox of Readyville & Billy Allen (Angela) Knox of Readyville; Grandchildren, Jessica Wilson of McMinnville, Kayla Knox of Readyville, Jonah Knox of Readyville, & Jacob (Amelia) Knox of Murfreesboro; Great Grandchildren, Jeffery St. John, Lydia Knox, & Josiah Davenport; and Sister, Aileen Knox of Readyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James Knox & Gertrude Todd Knox; and infant sisters, Carolyn Lois Knox & Edith Faye Knox.

Mr. Knox was a member of the Bethlehem church of Christ and was retired from Samsonite. He loved to talk politics and enjoyed cheering on his Tennessee Titans. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup & Bro. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Thyatira Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include, Brett Trail, Logan Trail, Derrick Fann, Derrick Shipp, Greg Rogers, & Joe Knox.
