PrintJames (Bud) Underwood, Jr., 77, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his home following an extended illness.
A native of Cannon Co., he was a member of the Bradyville Church of Christ and was a painter at Chromalox.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Farless Underwood of Bradyville, a son, Jr. Lee (Eva Maria) Underwood of Woodbury; a grandson, Elijah Underwood of Woodbury; sisters, Judy (Wade) Gannon of Bradyville and Viva Dean Hollis of Nashville; a brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Underwood of Morrison; and an aunt, Mamie Holt of Woodbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Vassar Underwood; his sister, Unive Knox and brother, Jerry Underwood.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with Bro. Charles Gunter and Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Interment will be in Thyatira Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.
