Jim Brown

James “Jim” Brown, 95, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Stones River Hospital

A member of Hollow Springs Community Church, Mr. Brown was a farmer. He was a Cannon County native.

Survivors:  

Sister: Mattie Gunter of Woodbury

Special Nieces and Nephews: Jeffery Brown, Penny Gunter, Joan Shirley & Herb Satterfield and several other nieces and nephews

Special Sister-in-law and Caretaker: Ruth Brown

Special Friends: Dawn Wynn & Linda Walton

He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. & Ella Elkins Brown; his wife, Evelyn Brown and his son, Everett Brown.

Graveside services will be held at Gilley Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday., March 22, 2012 with Bro. Joe Sissom officiating. Burial will be in Gilley Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 pm – 9 pm Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday until time of  graveside service at  Woodbury Funeral Home.
