Jimmy Lee Moss

Jimmy Lee Moss, 68, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Middle Tennesee Medical Center following an extended illness.   

A native of Cannon Co., he was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ, was retired from United Service Equipment and was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carolyn (Bush) Moss of Readyville; children, David (Teresa) Moss of Woodbury and Anita (Danny) Parton of Woodbury; five grandchildren, Derrick, Daniel and Dylan Moss, all of Murfreesboro; Dustin (Brittney) Parton of Little Rock, AR., and Shelby Parton of Woodbury; step granddaughter, Kaytlynne Kellogg, sister, Cathy Smithson of Readyville and brother, Charles Moss of Readyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Youree Moss and Thelma (Harris) Moss Bernal and stepfather, Sam Bernal and brothers, Don, Gene and Roy Moss.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. June 11, 2011 with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011.
